What views will I have my Touring
Caravan? Back to Top of
page
Touring pitches are
spacious with the outlook from the caravan offering
an uninterrupted view across the 2 acre main lawned area, as opposed
to looking at other caravans parked directly opposite. We do not
place caravans in regimented rows, nor do we mix tents with caravans. Views from
around the rest of the site are exceptional. 'Breathtaking', and
'Amazing' are only a couple of words that customers have used
describe them .
Will I be able to see my children play in
front of my caravan? Back to Top of
page
No. The large, grass play area is situated out of
site of the Touring caravans. The main touring field is a quiet tranquil area
where touring customers can relax and not be disturbed by children at play. The
playing of games of any description (including Boules), or cycling is
NOT permitted in this area. If you prefer to observe your children at play
from the caravan, then this site is perhaps not suitable for you.

Multiple family bookings (2 or more) together, in our experience can cause as much disturbance as a group of singles if not behaving conscientiously and respectfully and therefore may not be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
Large Tents Back to Top of page
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TENTS
During Bank Holidays,
Wakestock, Easter, Whitsun and the July/August school summer holidays we
regret that we have restrictions on tent sizes .
Tents which
sleep 8 or more or over 6.4 metre (Large Tunnel, Dome/Igloo
with arms etc.) - we can only accept in Low Season. This is
because these are oversized tents and often will not fit on our standard sized
pitches which are all marked out.
In addition:
An extremely large area of the pitch is permanently covered by canvas and combined with their fixed groundsheets damages most of the grass on a pitch making it unusable for future bookings.
On adjacent pitches / customers are often left feeling crowded out by the size and profusion of guy ropes which often stray over pitch boundaries.
We are required to allow a minimum of 6m between units such tents make it impossible for us to abide by this law in peak periods when we are at capacity
Is it Quiet at night? Back to Top of page
Yes. We advertise as a quiet
site and as such It is our policy to moniter the site, and any disturbances /
inappropriate behaviour after 11pm will not be tolerated.
